Aframe Signage

NEW SIGNS NEEDED QUICKLY

Federal Member Elect, Zali Steggall needed new shopfront signs for her new office in Manly on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The existing signs were from Tony Abbot, the former long standing Member of Parliament for Warringah. There was a lot of media interest and the contest for votes was well documented in the tabloids. Reporters were keen to document the changing of the guard at the ministerial office in Manly. As the signage was changed by our signwriters, the media took photos and videos. Machinery Labels

Machinery labels are made from SAV (self adhesive vinyl) or metallic adhesive foils.. This high quality media is made of thin sheets of UV resistant PVC with a high bond acrylic glue which adheres to most surfaces.

Machinery labels are also made to any size. The custom made sizes will suit whatever the situation needs.

Cast Vinyl

Cast vinyl is the better quality media for machinery labels. Cast vinyl is very flexible therefore it can be moulded and stretched over irregular and curved surfaces.  Cast vinyl is best for long lasting adhesive letters and can last 10 years or more depending on the location and wear and tear. Typically cast vinyl is used for vehicle wraps, vehicle signage and any types of signs that need to last as long as possible especially in an exterior environment.

Calender Vinyl

Calender vinyl is used for machinery labels that don’t need to last forever.

Vinyl cut letters can be used for all types of identification and signage. Everywhere you look these days has some sort of vinyl lettering or sticker.

If you need a small run of stickers for your business, then stickers can be cut for any type of label. These quality stickers are cut in vinyl or printed and cut to shape in any quantity.

Another thing that can be created is vinyl cut letters. 

Vinyl cut letters are individually cut and can be applied with application tape.

Colours available

Many colours are available in adhesive vinyl films.

Colours include all the bright colours including greys, blacks and browns.  Matte and gloss versions of all colours are available. There are also reflective colours, fluorescent colours and mirror films such as chrome and brushed aluminium.

Different glues are also available on various types of adhesive films. Examples are permanent glue, removable glue, high bond glue, easy apply adhesive and reusable glue for removing and re positioning stickers.

Floor Graphics

Floor graphics are made from SAV (self adhesive vinyl). This is a high quality  UV resistant PVC with a high bond acrylic glue which adheres to most surfaces.

There are two types of vinyl used for floor graphics:

Permanent SAV vinyl

Calender vinyl is the better quality media for floor graphics. It comes in a variety of colours or can be printed. It often has a textured surface or it can be laminated with a tough textured non slip laminate.  Calender vinyl  is best for long lasting adhesive floor graphics. It and can last quite well depending on the location. The amount of traffic will will determine how much wear and tear. Obviously smooth surfaces will have better adhesion and be more long lasting. Timber floor boards or vinyl flooring are good examples of smooth surfaces. Textured tiles and concrete need higher bond vinyl media for floor graphics. Removable Vinyl

Removable vinyl is much the same as permanent vinyl, however the glue is usually not as high bonding.  This allows for easier removal especially over a short period of time.

If you need a small run of floor graphics, then the stickers are either contour cut or printed to your specifications.

Another great thing about vinyl cut floor graphics or printed floor graphics is they can be supplied ready to install for anyone wanting to do D.I.Y. signage. The vinyl lettering is cut with all the lettering pre spaced and an application tape is applied over the top to hold letters together. The printed sections are also relatively easy to install with some instruction from us. Our staff are happy to guide you.
