Boat signage Northern Beaches
You need a sign for your yacht or motor cruiser? You have two options. Boat names are either sign written with paint or alternatively made with stickers. Traditional sign writing is painted by hand. The signwriter hand paints the sign or design directly to the hull of the boat.
Hand Painted Signwriting
Hand painting is done with tough and durable enamel paint. Enamel signwriting paint is easily touched up to bring back to new. Whereas stickers need to be stripped off and redone when they are damaged.
Stickers on Boats
The other way to do boat signs is with stickers, or otherwise known name is SAV decals. Self adhesive vinyl stickers are easily applied by the professional sign writer. They are pretty tough and durable. Vinyl film is available in many colours.
Do It Yourself Stickers
Alternatively boat decals can be applied by the owner themselves with a little instruction. Installing the signs yourself (DIY) is a cheaper way to put your name on your boat.
